Dark Trail

You wake up in a dark forest with nothing but a flashlight and a handgun. Something is out there — and the only thing keeping them back is the beam of light in your hand. Your battery drains every second. When it dies, so do you.

Dark Trail is a top-down survival horror game built around one rule: light is life.

The Flashlight Shine it on creatures and they flee. But the battery drains constantly — the beam dims as power drops, shrinking your safe zone. Find batteries scattered across the map. Hold F to surge to full intensity in an emergency. When the battery hits zero, it's over.

Six Creature Types Each enemy behaves differently. Learning them is survival — Small, Speedy, Big, Ranged, Swarm, and Ambush creatures all require a different approach. Some fear light. Some don't.

Hazards Spike traps, bear traps, and tripwire explosives litter the forest. The map punishes careless movement.

Escalating Threat A threat level ticks up every 60 seconds. Level 1 is manageable. Level 5 is not.

Checkpoints Flickering lights across the map let you save your exact state — health, ammo, battery and all. Find them. Use them.
